Wesley J. Allred, CPA

Managing Shareholder

Wes has been in public accounting in Garden City for four decades.  He founded Allred & Company, CPA's, Inc. in 2019 upon the retirement of the owners of Hays & Grapengater, CPA’s, P.A., where he worked for nearly 25 years.  Wes works with a variety of clients, with a strong focus on agricultural operations and individual taxation.

Wes graduated from Clearwater High School and Wichita State University, with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.   He is a longtime member of the AICPA and the Kansas Society of CPAs.

 

Outside the office, Wes enjoys biking, running and watching sports.  Wes and his wife, Julie, have two adult children, Shay and Lance.

Tamara L. Roth, CPA

Senior Manager

Tammy grew up on a farm north of Holcomb and brings over 30 years of CPA experience to the firm. She holds a degree from Kansas State University and takes pride in delivering high-quality service and unwavering commitment to her clients.

Tammy enjoys life alongside her husband, Tim, co-owner of Roth Glass & Framing, LLC. They have two children, Austin, an electrician, and Kristin, a student at Kansas State University currently studying accounting.  When tax season wraps up, you’ll often find Tammy fishing, relaxing at the lake, or cheering on her favorite football teams in the fall.

Shay Allred

Staff Accountant

Shay joined the firm in January 2022 and recently completed her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at Fort Hays State University. She grew up in Garden City and loves being close to home while building her career.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, being outdoors, puzzles, and time with her cats.

Calvin Stapp

Staff Accountant

Calvin joined Allred & Company in January 2025. Originally from Garden City, he spent time in Colby before returning home. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Fort Hays State University and is currently working toward his accounting degree.

 

Calvin enjoys working out and staying active — whether he’s watching, playing, or coaching football.

Administrative Assistant

Monica joined the firm in May 2024 and keeps things running smoothly with her attention to detail, efficiency, and positive attitude.

Outside the office, she loves quality time and fun with her kids.
